Crossed Wires

The UK’s biggest
podcasting party

Gather your friends and come and see your most-played shows - this time live and uncensored. This new festival will host the most exciting podcasting talent across three days.

Sheffield's iconic venues will be packed for blockbuster live shows, never-seen-before performances and special guests, covering the full podcasting spectrum; comedy, current affairs, culture, sport, family and y'know, other stuff too.

About us

This brand-new festival is brought to you by some of the most respected names in British podcasting and live events. Alice Levine (My Dad Wrote A Porno, British Scandal), Dino Sofos (Persephonica; Dua Lipa’s At Your Service, The News Agents from Global, Political Currency), James O’Hara (Tramlines, Day Fever).

The three friends, all hailing from The North (kinda, Alice is from Nottingham, but let’s not open that can of worms) hatched a plan over a walk in the Peak District and a curry; to bring the best podcasts to the people, in the great city of Sheffield.

To make sure it was a slick operation, our old pal, and events coordinator extraordinaire, Hannah Bennett, came on board!

And then we sat on a roadside crash barrier, and took this photo…
